A beautiful piece of New Zealand agate sourced from the Rangitata area in Canterbury.

The polished face showcases striking natural layers in soft grey, taupe, cream and earthy brown tones, with beautiful horizontal banding and translucent areas throughout. The raw natural exterior has been retained around the back and outer edges, giving a lovely contrast to the smooth polished face.

Its flat base allows it to stand independently, making this a gorgeous display piece for a shelf, cabinet or crystal collection.

Each Rangitata Agate is completely unique, making this a special little piece of New Zealand geology.
